The Freedman family had the trip of a lifetime last Saturday as we traversed 5 foot swells, heavy rain and low visibility. Everyone was dressed for the elements and after some well-timed steps, were off the boat and ashore with dry feet!
“It’s like being on a roller-coaster with no seat belts!”
A beautiful hike up the trail to the Holy Sites in the mist and cool of the forest, drinking from the spring, ringing the bells and praying at St. Herman’s grave were highlights.
It is always a joy to hear the quietness of the forest punctuated by the inquisitive questions and enthusiastic wonder of children.
